The General Authority for State Registration organized a post-implementation meeting for the KOICA project

On May 14, 2025, the General Authority for State Registration organized a meeting as part of the post-implementation evaluation of the project “Support for the Operation of the State Registration System,” which was jointly implemented with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The project was successfully implemented from 2020 to 2022 with grant aid from KOICA. It focused on strengthening the infrastructure of the state registration authority, providing technical equipment, and enhancing human resource capacity.

As a result of the project, the General Authority for State Registration established a modern data center equipped with up-to-date technical infrastructure. In addition, a series of professional capacity-building trainings were conducted in phases, making a valuable contribution to improving the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of the staff.

During the meeting, participants exchanged information on the outcomes of the project, the use of the server room, the application of technical equipment, feedback from staff who participated in the training programs, service quality, and citizen satisfaction. It was also noted that the project has contributed to expanding the range of services and played an important role in saving time for citizens.

At the end of the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to visit the data center in person, expressed their interest in further collaboration, and exchanged views on potential areas of future cooperation.
