The 85th anniversary of the establishment of Mongolia’s State Registration Authority has been celebrated

It is the 85th anniversary of the establishment and development of the state registration authority in Mongolia.

The ceremonial meeting dedicated to the historic 85th anniversary of the establishment and development of the registration authority in Mongolia was held today (20 November 2025) at the State Palace.

At the opening of the ceremony, by the Decree of the President of Mongolia, the State Registration Authority was awarded the state’s high distinction, the “Order of the Polar Star”, which was formally proclaimed to the public.

“At this ceremonial meeting of the State Registration Authority, decorated with the “Order of the Polar Star”, congratulatory remarks were delivered by A. Uilstuguldur, Chief of Staff of the President of Mongolia; D. Munkh-Erdene, First Deputy Chief of the Cabinet Secretariat; B. Enkhbayar, Minister of Justice and Home Affairs; former Director of the Civil Registration and Information Center A. Enkhjav; and D. Davaanyam, Chairman General of the General Authority for State Registration.

The meeting was attended by former and current leaders, staff members, and veteran employees of the State Registration Authority. A documentary film and a photographic exhibition showcasing the institution’s historical development, achievements, and future goals were presented to the guests.

At the conclusion of the honorary meeting, several employees who have been working productively and with dedication in the State Registration Authority were recognized and awarded high state orders and medals under the decree of the President of Mongolia.

On the occasion of the historic 85th anniversary of the establishment and development of the registration system in Mongolia, the 16th anniversary of the transition to the unified state registration system, and the “State Registration Officer’s Day,” I extend my heartfelt greetings to all employees and staff members of the State Registration Authority.
