A new State Registration Service Center has opened in Khan-Uul District, 21st Khoroo

In honor of the 85th anniversary of the General Authority for State Registration, the ‘State Registration Service Center’ of the Khan-Uul District Registration Division, located at Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport in the 21st Khoroo of Khan-Uul District, was newly opened today (2025.11.19).

The newly opened service center located at Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport will provide state registration services not only to residents of Khan-Uul District’s 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 21st, and 25th khoroos, but also to citizens of nearby provinces. The center is distinguished by its ability to provide initial and other property registration services for real estate located in the mentioned khoroos regardless of administrative jurisdiction, as well as offering civil registration and legal entity registration services all in one place.

The opening ceremony of the new center was attended by P. Tsogtbaatar, Deputy Director of Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport; S. Oyungerel, Director of the Unified State Registration Archive of the General Authority for State Registration; S. Oyun-Erdene, Head of the Khan-Uul District Registration Division; as well as staff of the ‘State Registration Service Center’ of the Khan-Uul District Registration Division located at Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport.

S. Oyungerel, Director of the Unified State Registration Archive of the General Authority for State Registration, said:
"Just a few years ago, state registration services were provided to citizens only through districts and khoroos, focusing solely on civil registration. Since 2022, however, 28 unified service centers have been opened across Ulaanbaatar. This has brought services closer to citizens, allowing them to access the services they need from anywhere, regardless of administrative jurisdiction or location. The newly opened center today will not only serve residents of this khoroo but also make it easier for citizens from other western districts to access all types of registration services. This initiative, implemented in honor of the 85th anniversary, is a timely and highly significant effort that efficiently utilizes space and improves accessibility.

With the opening of this new center, there are now five service points providing state registration services to residents across Khan-Uul District.

It is worth noting that the khoroos of Khan-Uul District surrounding Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport are home to approximately 100,000 residents, and as of today, there are around 76,000 registered real estate properties in this area.
