We officially announce that the information circulating on social media claiming that the design of the foreign passport has been updated is false and unfounded.
According to Resolution No. 155 of 2022 issued by the Government of Mongolia, the “National Foreign Passport Design and Specification” was newly approved as an annex. The validity period of an ordinary foreign passport is 10 years, while for citizens under the age of 16, it is issued with a validity of 5 years.
No amendments or changes have been made to the foreign passport design and specifications. Therefore, we urge citizens to verify information carefully and not be misled by false or inaccurate information.
