Dornod Province Department of State Registration, in collaboration with the Provincial Environment Office, is implementing the “One Citizen – One Tree” initiative for the second consecutive year to mark National Tree Planting Day.
From May 1, 2026 to June 1, 2026, citizens who receive state registration services are being given 3-year-old pine trees as gifts. Specifically, pine trees are being presented to citizens who have completed birth registration, marriage registration, and private residential property ownership registration services during this period.
This activity is being implemented not only in the provincial center but also simultaneously across the state registration units of all 14 soums of Dornod Province. It is notable for its focus on increasing citizens’ participation in environmental protection and green development, as well as promoting and spreading a culture of tree planting.
