“DELIVERY OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO CITIZEN THROUGH DIGITAL TYPE BY DEVELOPING STATE REGISTRATION” PROJECT
PROJECT INTRODUCTION:
The Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Finance and the Korea International Cooperation Agency or KOICA of the Republic of Korea, the Implementing parties of the project “Delivery of public service to citizen through digital type by developing state registration” funded by the KOICA grant aid, signed and approved the “Record of Discussion” on January 16, 2020.
THE PROJECT OBJECTIVE:
- Support “One Citizen-One Registration” national program by delivering public service equally and smoothly
- Ensure national safety and strengthen state memory by transferring paper based source documents into digital type
FINANCING:
The Korean Government grant aid (8 million USD)

IMPLEMENTING AGENCY:
The General Authority for State Registration
PROJECT OUTCOMES:
1. Implementation of the capacity development program for maintaining National Registration System
2. Support of registration by digital type, equipped with the necessary equipment
