The project “Delivery of public service to citizens through digital type by developing state registration” provided by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) grand aid was signed on January 16, 2020 by the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs and the Korea International Cooperation Agency.
D.Delgersaikhan, Chairman of the General Authority for State Registration, G.Tsolmon, Head of Administrative department, Jo Haeng-Ian, the Country Director of KOICA Mongolia Office, Kim Su-Yang, the Deputy Country Director and other officials held kick-off meeting virtually to exchange views on the current status of project implementation and future cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on other issues of the project to be completed by 2022, announcing that a tender has been announced in Korea for a company to provide all registration units in the aimags and the capital city with modern equipment.
Within the scope of the project, it is planned to upgrade the equipment of 21 aimags, 330 soums, 9 districts and 171 khoroos, upgrade equipment for database, integrated system server and storage devices, and strengthen the capacity of IT staff.
