On March 19, 2021, the Civil State Registration Department of the General Authority for State Registration organized an online training for registration officers in charge of state registration of diplomatic missions abroad. In previous years, this type of training was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but this time it is organized by the General Authority for State Registration.
The online training was opened by T.Narmandakh, head of the Civil State Registration Department, who provided detailed information on the current conditions of the civil state registration, further tendency and activities to be implemented by the Civil State Registration Department in 2021.
The training focused on understanding and implementing the legislation on civil state registration, issues to keep in mind when maintaining civil state registration, preparation and exposure of the list of voters residing abroad within the functions of the State Registration office during the Presidential election of Mongolia, development of civil state registration software, forms used in civil state registration, the disbursement of certificate securities and how to make the settlement report.
46 registration officers in charge of state registration of diplomatic missions abroad took part in the training. At the end of the training, senior specialists from Civil State Registration Department answered questions from the participants and the department is to provide advice and guidance on a number of related issues.
