Registration of civil migration has been resumed

Order No. A/344 of the Chairman of the General Authority for State Registration on resuming civil migration from June 12, 2021 was approved.

Article 25.1 of the Law on Presidential Election of Mongolia states that “Civil migration shall be stopped 60 days before the polling day and shall be resumed from the day after the election results are announced in accordance with Article 72.2 of this Law”.

According to the provision of 25.1 of this law “the decision to stop and resume the migration shall be made by the head of the state administrative organ in charge of state registration”. Thus the registration of civil migration has been resumed.
